SASO inspires and mobilizes girls and their mothers to provide service and leadership that positively impacts local communities.

1. You can find answers to nearly all of your questions in our FAQs
2. For easy access, download the Membership Toolkit app in the App Store
3. Lanyards must be worn to all volunteer events
4. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for event alerts
5. SASO is a sponsoring organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)
6. You represent SASO in the community: Honor your commitments; show up with a smile; dress appropriately for the event and the population you are serving; and limit cell phone use during your volunteer shift
7. Mothers & daughters must volunteer together for the first 3 events of every SASO year. After 3 events, girls may volunteer on their own.
8. Please do not sign up for events you cannot commit to. If something comes up, notify the event captain as soon as possible. Our philanthropies are depending upon us.
9. After completing an event, make sure your daughter's hours are recorded under My Account
10. You must participate in 3 events to be eligible for renewal.

Registration for the 2025-2026 membership year is now closed. We will be accepting new members for the 2026-2027 membership year starting May 1st, 2026.
