This past year, SASO launched its first Pilot Ambassador Program. During this inaugural phase, we introduced a guest speaker event, hosted 2 events with our own SASO table, and developed a relationship with Emily Larkin that led to the creation of the NEW Town Award.
Ambassadors also had opportunities to introduce new event ideas, strengthen community partnerships, and help expand SASO’s outreach and impact.
As the program continues to grow, we plan to expand opportunities to a larger group of candidates and introduce a two-tier structure consisting of:
- Ambassador Coordinators/ Mentorship
- Ambassador Members
This structure is designed to promote leadership, mentorship, and collaboration among members.
